How To Use

To forward the timeline move the mouse anywhere on the right in the display - the right indicator arrow will light up on the dashboard - and click. To move back through the timeline move the mouse anywhere on the left in the display and click.

About The Timeline

The timeline provides a chronology of trumps as well as directory of all the major series of trumps released between 1973 and 1995.

The timeline does not show every individual pack of trumps but the different series of trumps to be released by the three early producers of trumps in the UK - ACE, Dubreq and Waddingtons. Even though the timeline consists of 35 series of trumps covering over 400 individual packs, not every single series has been included - the minor ones may be added later for completeness.

An example pack from each series is shown on the timeline. All relevant information about the highlighted series - the one in the centre of the display - is shown on the dashboard. This includes listing the individual titles in the series, which are automatically displayed one at a time. Alternatively, if the adjacent arrows are clicked, the user can scroll through this list manually.

Finding A Particular Title

If you wish to date a particular pack, move through the timeline until you see a design that looks identical to your pack. When this is centred in the display you can read the details of the series - and you should find your particular pack listed in Titles display.
